Dr. Krueger joined hosts Dr. Gabrielli, Dr. Landy and Dr. Gold on this episode of the Augment. They discuss the final paper presentation of the 2025 AAHKS Annual Meeting, “Arthroplasty for Femoral Neck Fracture Can Be Delayed for Treatment with an Arthroplasty Surgeon”. The paper compares outcomes for patients treated with arthroplasty for femoral neck fracture performed by adult reconstruction subspecialized surgeons to those performed by surgeons of other orthopaedic subspecialties and to determine if surgery can safely be delayed to accommodate subspecialized care. Listen to the episode for more detail, read the abstract (page 79) and watch the presentation on LEARN (Annual Meeting attendees have access to the recordings; if you did not attend the meeting, the recordings can be purchased for CME credit).
