Congratulations to New Orthopaedic Residents!

The 2023 National Resident Matching Program’s match results were announced this week. On behalf of AAHKS, congratulations to all medical school students who matched this week into orthopaedic surgery residency programs! Becker’s Spine Review reported that orthopaedic surgery was one of four specialties that filled every available residency slot, alongside plastic surgery, radiology and thoracic surgery. The 2023 AAHKS Fellowship Match (for adult reconstruction fellowship programs with start dates in 2024) will be held later this year on April 18.
