Contribute Practice Data for Survey on Preventing Infection in Patients Undergoing Dental Procedures

AAHKS members are invited to participate in a research survey, endorsed by the AAHKS Research Committee, to assess current recommendations among orthopaedic surgeons regarding antibiotic prophylaxis prior to dental procedures, as well as perspectives on the timing of dental care before and after TJA. Given that current AAOS/ADA guidance is non-directive, practice patterns remain variable. Your input will help characterize trends in antibiotic selection, duration and overall prescribing practices, and may inform future clinical guidance. The survey consists of approximately 25 questions and will take about five minutes to complete. It includes questions related to your clinical experience, antibiotic prescribing habits and decision-making across a range of surgical scenarios. Complete the survey here.
