The Chicago Tribune reported this week about Lyons Township High School students who observed a robotic surgery demonstration at La Grange Memorial Hospital in suburban Chicago. The students, who belong to the Future Healthcare Professionals Club, were hosted by AAHKS member, T. Andrew Ehmke, MD. Students were able to try the robotic arm and expressed interests in orthopaedics and biomedical engineering as future careers. Full story.
