The AAHKS Women in Arthroplasty Committee (WIA) will be hosting their Summer Virtual Event in June 2022.The committee’s mission is to increase exposure, mentorship, professional development and mentorship of women in the field of adult hip and knee reconstruction. Topics such as navigating the world of social media in practice and bringing ergonomic tool needs to industries for production of better instruments will be presented. Additionally, industry sponsors will highlight qualities sought in surgeon representatives. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other surgeons within WIA in breakout chat rooms following the main event.
