Seattle Hospital Implements New Concurrent Surgery Policy

Swedish Medical Center in Seattle implemented an updated concurrent surgery policy that requires surgeons to be present for a “substantial majority” of surgical procedures, according to Doximity. Swedish released the statement, “We have established more specific parameters around attending surgeon presence during surgical procedures.
