The Hip Society is inviting submissions in consideration for its annual Scientific Awards. These awards are named after individuals who have made outstanding contributions to reconstructive surgery of the hip and are based on the following criteria:

The Otto Aufranc and The John Charnley Awards: Papers submitted in these categories are to be based on innovative research, either clinical or basic, encompassing important advances in the management of hip disorders.

The Frank Stinchfield Award: This honor is given to a resident or fellow in training who submits an outstanding contribution concerning hip problems. If applying for the Frank Stinchfield Award, please indicate if you are a resident or fellow.

Award paper presentations will take place during The Hip Society/AAHKS Open Meeting on March 5, 2016, in Orlando, FL (at AAOS 2016 Annual Meeting). The deadline to submit is December 1, 2015. Submit papers through the Clinical Orthopaedic and Related Research (CORR) website. CORR guidelines must be followed and CORR policies shall apply.
