In this episode the Augment hosts are joined by Eduardo A. Salvati, MD, for the latest “Legends in Arthroplasty”, to discuss how he came to orthopaedics, and adult reconstruction when working with his farther treating patients with polio in his home country of Argentina. He shares his experiences doing fellowships with other Arthroplasty Legends such as Dr. John Charnley, leading to him staying in the US. Dr. Salvati discusses how the research he has been involved with has had an effect on the profession, his international work across Latin America and Europe, and training the next generation of Arthroplasty Legends.
