Greg Paul, a 61-year-old mountaineer from Alpine, Utah, is attempting to become the first known climber to summit Mount Everest with two total knee replacements. This will be Paul’s third attempt after trying in 2012 and 2014 when ice falls and avalanches cancelled his expeditions. So far this week, the expedition has made it to Camp 3 where they encountered bad weather and retreated to base camp to wait it out. Visit the “Greg Climbing” blog for daily updates.
