What Patients are Viewing: Patient Live Tweets during THR

A British hip patient took to social media before, during and after his hip replacement surgery. While under twilight anesthesia, the 55-year old tweeted his reaction to the surgery environment. According to the Shropshire Star, “[The Tweets] were shared on the hospital’s Facebook page, in a post that was viewed by almost 11,000 people. Many people also commented to share their experiences of similar procedures at the hospital.” Full story.
