AAHKS Supports No Suprises Act Enforcement Legislation

This week, AAHKS joined 97 other specialty and state medical societies in writing Congressional leaders to support H.R. 4710/S. 2420, the “No Surprises Act Enforcement Act,” and urge prompt action on this important legislation. This follows the April 27 letter to the secretaries of the Departments of Health and Human Services, the Treasury and Labor regarding the lack of enforcement of the No Surprises Act. The Act would authorize penalties on any party that does not adhere to statutory timelines for payment after an IDR entity has made a final and binding determination.
