Final Day of the 2023 AAHKS Annual Meeting

The 2023 AAHKS Annual Meeting concludes, with today’s symposia covering “Revision for Periprosthetic Joint Infection: Video-Based Techniques” and “Revision for Periprosthetic Joint Infection: Video-Based Techniques” and the remaining papers focused on health policy and large database studies were presented. Guest representatives from The Hip Society, The Knee Society and the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) will provide informational reports to attendees, and two AAHKS Health Policy Fellows are also presenting reports on their work over the last year: Anna R. Cohen-Rosenblum, MD, MSc, is presenting on “Medicaid Reimbursement for TJA in the US: Implications For Patient Access to High-Quality Arthroplasty Care” and Peter A. Gold, MD, will address “Getting Paid for Pre-optimization Work: Principal Care Management.” AAHKS members are invited to attend today’s Business Meeting to vote on proposed bylaws changes and Board of Directors nominees.
