- Third-most popular was the AAHKS Summary of CMS’s recently released Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) final rule for acute and long-term care, which includes the Innovation Center’s Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM) final rule. This mandatory episode-based alternative payment model will commence in January 2026 and include lower extremity joint replacement, among other procedures. Read it here.
